Monitor

Monitor is a main output device for any computer. It will display images generated by the computer. It consumes more power than CPU. There are two types of monitor one is CRT and another is LCD. CRT monitor size is large it looks like a small TV. It uses some radiation to display image in the screen this radiation may affect human eyes. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a another type of monitor it size is small when compare to CRT. It is very thin and flat display device. It uses liquid crystals to display the image generated by computer. It does not affect human eyes. Now a days TFD replaces the term LCD. TFD means True Flat Display. Currently this type of monitors is highly available in markets. The popular companies which produce monitors are Samsung, LG, Hcl, etc. Samsung is very popular for monitor production.
