Pen drive is a Portable Storage Device. It is used to Store Data which have USB interface to connect computer. Earlier pen drives have memory up to 64 MB. Modern pen drives increased their memory size to 1 GB. But now a days Data to store in Pen drive is High hence memory size of pen drive is also increased from 4 to 8 GB. Currently 8 GB is highly available in Markets. Pen drive is mainly used to Store the data temporarily not it is permanent. In real world Pen drives replaces the usage of CD and DVD’s. When we need data from our friend computer just we insert pen drive in USB interface then we will copy that data to pen drive now it is easy to carry the data from one place to another.
