Hard Disk

Hard Disk is a storage device to store Huge amount of data. Hard Disk consists of magnetic disk and Read/Write pin. Magnetic Disk is used to Store huge amount of data. The Read/write Pin is used to read or write the data in the disk Magnetic Disk is always Rotating when Computer is switched on it stops rotating when Computer switched off. Read/Write pin moves from right to left and left to right along the rotating Disk to read or write the data in the disk. Earlier day’s Hard disk memory is just 1 to 4 GB. But it is not sufficient in modern days then memory is increased from 20 to 40 GB. Till that IDE cables are used to connect hard disk to Mother board .Now a Days that memory is also not sufficient to store required data then memory size for hard disk is increased from 40 to 160 GB. Amount of data to store in Hard disk is increased up to date .Hence Memory size for Hard disk is also increased simultaneously. Currently SATA cable is used to connect hard disk to mother board. There are many popular companies to produce Hard disk like Seagate, Sam sung, etc.
